DAY 1 - Saturday November 12

Depart for Buenos Aires from JFK airport


DAY 2 - Sunday November 13

Arrival in Buenos Aires (EZEIZA International Airport)
Your Kosherlat host will be Valeria Duek.
Transfer to Cristal Palace Hotel.
Check in
Lunch at Or Mizrah Congregation.
After lunch we will begin exploring Buenos Aires: we will visit the Civic Center of Buenos Aires: Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada (the equivalent of the White House), the Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. We will continue through Avenida de Mayo, where is located the Tortoni Cafe, the oldest in town, and the Palacio Barolo, one of the most beautiful buildings in Buenos Aires. We will see the Congress House of Argentina.
Then we will go to the colorful neighborhood of La Boca, home to the first Italian immigrants. We will walk through "Caminito" st, enjoy of the open-door art fair, and visit original tenements (conventillos) which had being refurbished and turned into souvenirs' market.
Then we will go to Puerto Madero, the newest neighborhood of the city.

DAY 3 - Monday November 14
Shaharit at 7.45 at Or Mizrah Congregation (across the street from the hotel).
After Kosher breakfast at the hotel, we will spend the morning learning about the past and present of the Jewish Community in Argentina.
Lunch at Kosher McDonald's.
In the afternoon  In the afternoon we will visit the Jewish Museum of Buenos Aires and the synagogue that belongs to the first Jewish Argentinean congregation, Congregación Israelita de la República Argentina.
Then we will take a guided tour to the Colon Theatre, the Opera House of Buenos Aires.

Dinner at Sucath David Restaurant.

DAY 4 - Tuesday November 15
Shaharit at 7.45 at Or Mizrah Congregation.
After breakfast, we will go the  Tablada Jewish cemetery, where we will visit a monument in honor of the victims of the terrorist attacks to the Israeli Embassy and AMIA (an umbrella organization similar to the Jewish Federation, which was bombed in 1994, leaving 85 victims).

Lunch at Ledor Vador Home for Elderly.

After lunch, we will take a guided visit to the Anne Frank Center of Argentina.
When we finish the visit  to Anne Frank House, we will go to Barrancas de Belgrano, a park near the hotel.
Then, we will go back to the hotel to get ready for dinner and tango Show.

DAY 5 - Wednesday November 16
Shaharit at 7.45 at Or Mizrah Congregation.
After breakfast, we will visit San Telmo, the oldest neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
We will have lunch at Kosher McDonald's.
In the afternoon we will explore Plaza San Martín, Florida street (the most famous pedestrian street in Buenos Aires) and then we will go to the Palermo forests (a very nice green area of Buenos Aires) where are boats, bikes and plenty of space for playing soccer games.

DAY 6 - Thursday November 17
Shaharit at 7.45 at Or Mizrah Congregation.
After breakfast, visit the Tarbut High-School located in a suburb of Buenos Aires called Olivos. We will meet Tarbut High-School students and we will have an activitiy all together.

Then, we will have Country day at Estancia El Cencerro (80km from Buenos Aires), where we will enjoy of outdoor activities, (soccer, swimming, horse-back riding) and a Gaucho Show.
Kosher asado ( Argentinean style BBQ).

Dinner at Kosher McDonalds.

DAY 7 - Friday November 18
Shaharit at 7.45 at Or Mizrah Congregation.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the Yeshurun Tora High School and synagogue. Activity with Yeshurun High School students. 
Back to the hotel, we will get ready for Shabbath. We will walk to the synagogue Yosef Caro for  Shabbath service after which we will have Shabbath dinner.

DAY 8 - Saturday November 19
After breakfast at the hotel, we will attend Shabbat service. After the service is finished, we will have lunch at the synagogue. Before Minha, we will take a walk in Belgrano neighborhood with some members of the Or Mizrah Congregation. Minha service. Havdala.

We will go to Club CASA for dinner (Kosher Shawarma and falafel). Magician show in English.

DAY 9 - Sunday November 20
Shaharit at 9.45at Or Mizrah Congregation.
After breakfast, we will explore the elegant district of Recoleta with its famous outdoor antique fair and the Recoleta Cultural Center while enjoying of the intensive weekend's activity on Recoleta neighborhood's streets, full of musicians and mimos. In Recoleta neighborhood is located the first cemetery of Buenos Aires, where is the grave of Evita Perón, and forefathers of the Argentinean Republic.

Lunch at Romini Kosher pizza.

After lunch we will go to Palermo Soho.
Palermo Soho district blossoms on weekends. Stores with avant-garde design, exquisite cafes and fancy restaurants will make your journey more enjoyable. Nowadays is the preferred spot for fashionable travelers in Buenos Aires. This neighborhood, once a run-down place full of warehouses, factories, and tiny, decaying homes as recently as 15 years ago, has been transformed into one of the city's most chic destinations.

Farewell dinner at Dashi Kosher Sushi restaurant.


DAY 10 - Monday November 21
Shaharit at 7.45 at Or Mizrah Congregation
Check out.
After breakfast, we will go to Ledor Vador, a Jewish home for elderly for a chessed
activity togheter with the Baby Help. We will have lunch there.

Transfer to EZEIZA International Airport.

Kosher snacks and sandwiches will be provided for the afternoon.
